Cake, Favours and the like!!

We had a lot of fun making things for the wedding. Lynn, my sister has been collecting cones, leaves, berries and other similar things for the past few weeks. We used them to decorate the tables for an Autumn Theme. The room looked gorgeous.
The favours were brown boxes with marzipan pumpkins, Wedding Day sweet pea seeds and Kendal mint cake in them. The boxes were decorated with silver acorn charms, silver leaves and an autumn leaf. Lynn had made mini pots of bramble jelly for everyone and the place names were finished off with a name tag on a small pumpkin!
The cake was made by a lady in Llandudno recommended by Maesmor Hall. The front of the cake was autumn leaves and the back icing was peeled back to reveal Lego bricks! Unfortunately I have no photo of the back at present. On the tables were plant pots with curly hazel twigs, silk autumn leaves, rose hips and cupcakes decorated as roses.

Jenny and Steve's Wedding

Making table decorations the night before the wedding! Jenny on her phone - Lynn and Marilyn slaving away and Ange drinking tea!

This is my daughter Jenny and her new husband Steve Dowden at their Evening Reception on 5th November at Lowton Civic Hall. They were married on the 4th at Maesmor Hall in North Wales.

Me struggling to lace up Jenny's dress! I'm not too sure about the feathery thingy I chose to have on my head!!! But Jenny does look stunning!
Mervyn and Jenny walking down the aisle! He does look smart in his wedding suit!
